Work in Progress
Disassembly of the former “Dom Słowa Polskiego” Printing House at Miedziana Street in the Wola district in Warsaw is under way. At the end of 2018, Czech company Penta Real Estate will start building a modern office building on a plot of land with a surface of approx. 6,300 square metres. It is worth mentioning that last year, the Czech developer built the office building at Domaniewska Street and it is planning to locate offices at Miedziana Street. The company announced that it will offer approx. 28,000 square metres of office space, whereas the building will fulfil top technological requirements. Energy-efficiency is the main feature of the building; furthermore, it is going to possess the LEED certificate. The estimated cost of the investment is approx. EUR 60 million.
A few words about Penta Investments, a company that has offices in Prague, Bratislava and Warsaw. Penta Investments is a Central European investment group that was established in 1994 and operates in the following sectors: health protection, financial services, production, retail trade and real property. Penta companies have approx. 41,000 employees, whereas the total value of Penta assets amounted to EUR 9 billion in 2017.
The new Penta investment offers an opportunity for changing the abandoned and unkempt fragment of the city to a more modern and more visually friendly space. What is more, the office building will adjoin the Kazimierz Square and a planned municipal square, where the city residents will be able to use spatial entertainment. The entire area is going to form a multi-functional commercial and service investment, along with offices, residential premises and entertainment facilities. The location of the investment at the corner of Pańska Street No. 11 and Miedziana guarantees excellent communication with the heart of the capital, as well as convenient access to trams, buses and the second line of the Warsaw underground. In the vicinity, there are Pańska Apartments, Prosta Office Centre and Prosta Tower office building.
