Avison Young is a New Player on the Polish Market

Toronto based commercial property services firm Avison Young has acquired the British GVA. The transaction was made on February 1. Both companies united under one brand – Avison Young. Thus, the Canadian company got a wide representation in Europe with the newly acquired offices located across the continent. The office in Poland is situated in Warsaw.

According to the new entity’s representative, Avison Young is a dynamic company which has increased its team from 300 real estate experts located in Canada to about 5,000 experts in 20 countries. And the company is not going to stop. In fact, they plan to acquire the main market professionals, teams, and companies throughout Europe. Meanwhile, work under GVA brand allowed conducting big projects and concluded significant deals, both on the internal and international markets. This is very valuable for Avison Young. No doubt, the merged companies will add value to the Polish commercial property market too.

There is no information on the conditions of the deal. But the increase in revenue is significant – it is 25 times higher than in 2008.
