More Foreign Entrepreneurs in Poland
The amount of foreign entrepreneurs has grown more than 20% within the last four years.
Currently, more than 19 thousands of entrepreneurs in Poland are foreign citizens. Ukrainians are the largest group, around 4786 people. Vietnamese, another large ethnic group in Poland, comparing to other nations are more willing to start business activity in Poland. Around 12,9% of them are business owners who pay ZUS (Social Insurance Institution) payments for themselves and their employees.
The data provided by Central Register of Insured Persons has shown that the number of individuals who were subject to retirement pension insurance and who are not the citizens of Poland, has grown 10 times. In December 2019 the number was 569 thousands of people, comparing to 65 thousands in December 2008.
